All Made by Banpresto unless otherwise noted. These are roughly in chronological order.
1. Anpan Man - Sega, 1990 - Two of the oldest catcher toys in my collection, these come from a series of large plushes measuring almost 10 inches tall sitting!
2. Urusei Yatsura - 1992 - Lum, Cherry & Ataru. The two others in this set were Ten and the white cat. There was another set with characters from UY, and you can see another version of Lum further down on this page. (Image #11)
3. & 4. Dragon Ball - 1992 - Krillin & Goku - 8 inches tall.
5. This Frankenstein monster comes from a 1992 set which included a little blonde boy with big ears, a Vampire & a Wolfman. I've got no idea what the show is. Anybody out there know?
6. ??? - 1993 - At first I thought the one on the right was supposed to be Robocon, but comparing it to the 1998 Robocon toys, this is obviously not Robocon! I recently picked up another one of these with a tag, which features 8 characters, including the paintbrush, (shown below - possibly the main character?) an orange, a tomato and some other characters. So...anyone got a clue as to what this show is? ^_^
7. & 8. Ghost Sweeper Mikami - 1993 - Mikami & Yokashima. This anime was about a sexy (and greedy) ghost catcher for hire and her lascivious assistant. The full series had 7 toys, but these were the two most interesting. Why? Well, I don't know how it relates to the story, but Mikami is the only catcher toy I've ever known that has removable panties! Her assistant wears a backpack, and inside it you'll find an additional pair of golden panties. If anyone knows the story behind this, I'd love to hear it. Mikami is about 9 & 1/2 inches tall. Todao is 7 inches.
11. Lum - Banpresto
12. Captain Harlock - 1994 - The full series contained eight plush dolls.
13. 3x3 Eyes - Made by Sega, 1994 - 8 inches tall. 7 in the series? Sanjang and Belenas are pictured.
14. Slayers - Made by Banpresto, 1995 - Narga - 9 inches tall.
15. Akazukin Cha Cha - Made by Takara - 9 inches tall.
