UFO Catcher Toys - Miscellaneous Toys Page 2

All Made by Banpresto unless otherwise noted. These are roughly in chronological order. This page will go through some changes, as I plan to break the miscellaneous pages down into Miscellaneous Anime, Miscellaneous Video Game Plushes, and Miscellaneous J-Pop.

1. Kindaichi Shounen No Jikenbo - Banpresto, 1996 - This is the complete set of 5, including 2 versions of Hajime Kindaichi, Miyuki Nanase, "Phantom" & Isamu Kenmochi.

2. Hell Teacher Nube - Banpresto, 1996 - I don't know anything about the character or the series he comes from, but I thought he looked cool, so I picked him up!

3.  Daimaijin - Jun Planning - You may remember this classic film about a giant Samurai statue that comes to life. There was a series of plushes with different colors and facial expressions. The tag does not indicate what year this is from.

4. (I'm saving this space for more Daimajin plushes, which I'll have soon.)

6. Dragon Ball GT - Banpresto, 1996 - Kid Goku

7. Sega has produced literally hundreds of plush catcher toys based on Disney characters, and I generally don't collect them, but I did pick up three of  the Seven Dwarves, which I must say are exceptionally well made for prize toys. The eyes are even embroidered. These are from a 1996 series, and they measure about 9 inches tall.

8. X - Sega, 1996 - Fuuma, Kadori & Kamui are shown. I'm not sure how many more where in the series.

11. Tatsunoko Set - 1998 - 8 inches tall. This is the complete set of 3. Casshan, Polymer & Gatchaman.

12. Felix The Cat - Banpresto, 1998 - There were five in the series, including the traditional black Felix and four color variations. I haven't found the black one yet.

13. Wallace & Gromit - 1998 - Complete set of 4, which includes two versions of Gromit, a penguin & Wallace. Gromit has wires in his ears, so you can pose them to get different expressions.

14. Club Croak - Sega, 1999 - There were actually 6 in the set, I'm missing the green one.

16. This space had been used for J-Pop star Hide. Due to the number of Hide toys produced in the last year, I decided to give him his own page, which you can see here.

17. Hot Stuff - Sega, 1999 - This comes from a deluxe set of Harvey Comics characters, which included Wendy the Witch, Baby Huey and Richie Rich. Hot Stuff measures 13 inches tall.

18. Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne - Banpresto, 1999 - This complete set of 5 is the first set of plushes made for this series, sometimes called "Mystery Thief Jeanne." 7 inches tall.

19. Ojamajo Doremi (Little Witches Doremi) - 1999 - Thanks to those big hats, these are close to 10 inches tall. This is the complete set of 3, including Harukaze Doremi, Senoo Aiko & Fujiwara Hazuki.

20. Crayon Shin-Chan - 1999 - This is such an amazing set! Crayon Shin-Chan and his sister Himawari are wearing space suits with large plastic helmets, and dog Shiro has antennae and a blue vinyl cape. One of my favorite sets from 1999.
