Sakura Wars

Introduction:

Sakura Wars is a popular series of adventure/role-playing video games, which has also spun-off into an animated series. So far, there have been three Sakura Wars games, and there have been catcher toys sets with each new game. These toys were all produced by Sega.

Sakura Sakura Ri Kouran
st-4.jpg (43924 bytes) There were 7 plush toys in the first series, all shown here. They were released in 1996, and the average size is 8 inches tall. The characters are: Sakura Shinguji, Ri Kouran, Sumire Kanzaki, Kanna Kirishimi, Maria Tachibana, Iris Chateaubriand.

Sakura Wars 2 Plush Catcher Toys - 1999

There were two sets of jumbo sized plush dolls released, with 4 in each set. They may look like regular catcher toys in the pics, but these are BIG! They're 10 inches tall in sitting positions. FYI, it costs 800 yen just to play the game to get a chance to win one of these plushes!

Set 1 includes: (Clockwise from top right) Ri Kouran, Sumire Kanzaki, Leni Milchstrasse, & Sakura Shinguji.
