Sentai Series Catcher Toys

Introduction:

Sentai, or superhero teams have been a popular Japanese trend since the Go Rangers first appeared in the mid-70's. Most teams are made up of 5 members with different color outfits. Thanks to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which took fight scenes from the Japanese TV shows and added new footage of American teenagers, most Americans have seen a taste of what these shows are like.

1995 Oh Rangers - Complete set of 5 shown. Each character has a weapon made of felt. One of the more interesting looking Ranger sets.
gc-set.jpg (63616 bytes) 1996 Ignition Task Force Carranger - Complete set shown. Footage from Carrangers was used for the US Power Rangers Turbo series.
mg-11_15.jpg (53147 bytes) 1997 Electromagnetic Task Force Megaranger - Complete set of five shown. About 8 inches tall. Footage from this series was used for the US Power Rangers In Space series.
