Tarzan

Updated 01/14/2002

Introduction:

Did you know they'd made an anime based on Tarzan? I didn't, until I came across this obscure set of plushes. The Japanese version must have had much more of a sense of humor than what we're accustomed to. The following toys were made by Banpresto.

This is actually a pretty nice set of plushes. The first Tarzan plush has him "swinging" on a green rope with a suction cup at the top. And the anatomically correct monkey makes a good conversation piece... There was one other in the set, of the sexy (by plush standards) leather bikini-clad Jane.
