Wallace & Gromit

Updated 05/11/2002

Introduction:

Wallace & Gromit are the stars of a series of award winning short clay animation films by British director Nick Park. Wallace is a kindly, optimistic inventor with a love for cheese, and Gromit is his faithful dog. (Who often has more common sense than his owner.) At first, W&G were a local sensation in England, but it didn't take long to find fans throughout the rest of the world. Banpresto produced a few series of W&G items as catcher items, including plushes and keychains. The following toys were made by Banpresto.

Wallace Gromit Gromit Feathers
There were 4 in this set, and all are pictured. These seem to be a bit different from regular catcher toys. Wallace & Feathers are unusually pillowey and light. The Gromits have beans in the bodies which give them more weight, and wires in the ears, which make them poseable. All have plastic eyes.

"Super DX" is the name of the extra large plush catcher toys, and this one measures 16 inches tall in a sitting position! It's huge! Gromit has plastic eyes and a pleather nose.
