Yaiba

Updated 03/09/2002

Introduction:

A late '80s, early '90s manga by Aoyama Goushou, who's most recent manga is Detective Conan. Like just about any manga title that finds an audience, an anime also exists. As far as I know, there was just one Yaiba plush catcher toy set. The following toys were made by Banpresto.

There were a total of 5 in the set. I'm missing one that looks like a fat orange cat. Average size is between 7 and 8 inches. Yaiba, who is standing atop plastic shoes, is 8" tall. The swords they're holding are plastic.
