The Legend of Zelda:

The Ocarina of Time

Updated 04/02/2002

Introduction:

Legend of Zelda is a long running series of role-playing adventure video games produced for the Nintendo game systems. Following the Japanese release of the N64 classic, "The Ocarina of Time", Takara produced a set of plush catcher toys, and to the best of my knowledge, the series shown below is the only set of catcher toy plushes that have been produced. The following toys were made by Takara, and tend to be much more difficult to find than the catcher toys made by Banpresto or Sega.

Young Link Older Link Princess Goron
loz-5.jpg (27124 bytes) Typical of Takara's catcher toy plushes, there were no card hang tags, but there are cloth "tush tags." Link's clothes are made of a vinyl "pleather." The Young Link has a felt slingshot and a felt shield across his back. All have a gold string at the top of their heads. Young Link has the fairy Navi attached to his string. The average size of each plush is 7 inches tall, although Ganandorf is 8 & 1/2".
